Antique Victorian Mahogany Letter Opener
This lovely letter opener has a simple classical design. We believe it to date from the nineteenth century and to be constructed from thin mahogany. It has a picture of a classical or religious figure on the front, which appears to have been lacquered over.
Condition: Overall in good condition with some wear and patina consistent with age and use. There is some surface scratching and wear. The picture has some wear and chipping to the lacquer.
