WE'RE OUT OF ROOM AND HAVE TO LET THIS PIECE GO AT A RIDICULOUS PRICE!

A gorgeous piece of American history from the Property Department of 20th Century Fox purchased at auction from a top Los Angeles auction house. Both the cradle and the stand are unobtrusively marked on the bottom with the studio's ID numbers. I tried to have Fox come up with a list of films the cradle appeared in but, as it turns out, they long ago destroyed the Prop Department's records.

The cradle itself dates from circa 1804. The stand is of a much later date, most likely the 1920s.

The apex of the wooden canopy has a crack running against the grain. No attempt has been made to repair it. You can see it in the photos. The base has knicks and a few scratches on it as seen in the photos.

The piece comes with rose-colored sateen bedding, the date of which is unknown.

This is a very unique piece and can either be used for a new born, of course, or as a special way to display your doll collection.

Overall Dimensions: 41" H x 44 1/2" L x 26 1'4" W
Cradle Exterior: 22 5/8" H x 37 1/4 L x 17 3/4 W
Cradle Interior (w/out bedding): 36" L x 14 3/4" W

IF SHIPPED IT WILL NEED TO GO VIA A VAN SHIPPER, BLANKET WRAPPED, AND CAN NOT BE BOXED AND SHIPPED VIA USPS OR ANY PACKAGE SHIPPING PROVIDER. Much too large. In fact, we dropped the purchase price to help make up for most of the cost of freight shipping. Thanks...
