Antique Victorian Majolica Pottery Cabinet Plate

This antique majolica plate looks to date from the second half of the nineteenth century. It has no maker's marks. The plate has attractive raised decoration around the edges featuring white flowers, and a green and brown mottled design in the middle.

Condition: Overall in good condition with some wear consistent with age. The plate has some manufacturing imperfections and imperfections in the glaze as might be expected. The piece is heavily crazed and has some surface scratching and scoring.
