- I have fitted these to many machines over the years & always found them to perform perfectly, as have many, many satisfied customers.
This is a quality replacement part from the manufacturer, made from the correct materials, to the correct specification!
This is the genuine gear that you need to repair the expensive CD players made by Wadia \Copland etc which suffer from tray opening issues caused by the aged & broken drive gear. It is not a home-made / 3D printed effort of questionable quality or a metal "long life" equivalent offering that will chew up its neighbouring plastic gear.
(Metal gears & plastic gears should not be mixed - rapid /premature wear of the plastic gear it is meshed with will occur. You never see such an arrangement inside any equipment from a hifi manufacturer).
This is one of the gears responsible for driving the CD tray in & out - it replaces the gear that will have crumbled &
cracked causing the CD draw "open/close" operation to fail. This gear is brand new, original & unused, the plastic used to manufacture these new gears has been improved over those that were made 20+ years ago, so they will no longer become
brittle & crumble like those that now need replacing.
