ONE (1) ANTIQUE
9-5/8" LONG, OLD FRENCH STYLE, HOLLOW HANDLE,
LATEMA METAL ALLOY BLADE DINNER KNIFE
FROM THE 1913-1914 ISSUED "WEYMOUTH" PATTERN NAME OF
STERLING SILVER FLATWARE MADE BY
GORHAM SILVER, USA

EACH ARE MONOGRAMMED ON THE TOP HANDLE WITH A LETTER "M",
TOTAL WEIGHT OF ONE (1) KNIFE IS 79.3 GRAMS

PLEASE NOTE:
THIS LISTING IS FOR ONE (1) KNIFE,
BUT WE HAVE FOUR (4) AVAILABLE FOR SALE!

They are each monogrammed with a Gothic letter M, otherwise, they show light wear from use and storage, including marks, scratches, above average scratches on the blade with minor tarnish spots, and they retain a light patina over the Sterling surface due to aging.  We choose not to clean potentially collectible silver like this, and leave that option up to the new owner.  They have nice shine as they are, are straight, not bent, with no major issues at all.

All are clearly hallmarked where the blade meets the handle LATEMA STERLING, and the 3 character lion, anchor and G hallmark for Gorham.  LaTema was a trade name used in pre-1940 flatware, as these blades are more of a silverplated nickel silver alloy.

If you happen to have an existing heirloom set of silver from this more hard to find pattern, this is a great opportunity to add these pieces to expand your set and fill holes you've been meaning to!  Even if you don't necessarily need these, adding more adds extra resale value to your set if you ever choose to sell it, while being a great silver investment at the same time!
