This listing is for a Vintage 1987 Medical Graphics Corporation Microloop System 1100 Computerized Spirometer.

It incorporates an Apple IIe, loaded with the following cards:

80 column / RAM expansion
An Apple CAT II modem
An Apple CAT expansion card for 1200 Baud
A Microbuffer II
A Disk II card
An Interactive Structures A113-A, 16 channel A/D card - one was used on the Space Shuttle
A Titan accelerator
A Titan 128K RAM expansion

The case holds the IIe (with no lid), a 5.25" FDD and a 9" mono monitor. It also has proprietary electronics for handling measurements & interfacing the pneumotach breath sensor to the A/D card.

We were able to get it to boot from the disk labeled "Initialization" whereupon it asked for a patient data disk. We could make any further progress.

Consignment sale for a collector who is downsizing. Due to the limited testing and, because vintage components can fail at any time, it is sold as-is, officially "for parts or not working" with no guarantee of functionality or completeness whatsoever. Our client is aware that some of the cards are desirable and has asked us to set the price so that it is more likely to go to a buyer who will keep it in one piece.

Available for local pickup from just outside Amarillo, Texas. We will be happy to work with you on having it crated and freighted by your contractor, but must treat it as a local pickup sale. Please contact us for payment methods upon pickup.
