Victorian 18ct Sapphire & Diamond Ring c1900
UK Ring Size 'N', or US Ring Size '6 3/4'

A stunning Victorian 18ct Gold Sapphire & Diamond Five Stone Ring dating to 1900, which is set with three Round Graduated Sapphires and two Diamonds within a typical Victorian Mount (please see the detailed close-up photographs provided, which form an integral part of the item's description).

This wonderful Antique Ring, which weighs 2.7 grams, has a Plain Tapered Shank leading to the Gem set Gallery. The central Sapphire (approx' diameter 3.0mm) is flanked to either side by a Diamond and a smaller Sapphire that complements the central stone perfectly.

Typical of the Period this fine quality ring is stamped inside the band with a Maker's Mark 'RN' and a full British Hallmark confirming that it is made of solid 18ct Gold and that it was assayed in Chester in 1900. Overall the ring is in great condition with wear to the surfaces commensurate with age, as shown.

The ring is sized at UK Ring Size ‘N’, which equates to US Ring Size ‘6 3/4’ - as with almost all rings the band is slightly ovalized i.e it is not perfectly round and it measures slightly differently on the gauge depending on how it is positioned, however this will not affect the ring when worn.

In summary, this is a stunning Victorian 18ct Gold Sapphire & Diamond Five Stone Ring dating to 1900 - it is quite simply sublime.
