Description:
1970's vintage stock as I am selling my shoe making materials. Used this stock to make bespoke shoes and boots. Now no longer required. Ideal for any DIY shoe repairer, shoemaker and shoe repairers. Simple to fit on new shoes.

Instructions for fitting new block heels to existing shoes or new shoes being made
  • Ensure shoes are clean. Remove any dirt
  • Rough bottom of the heel and the shoe part where heel fits with course sandpaper
  • Clean the both parts with a damp cloth
  • Place the heel on the shoe and draw around it
  • Using a sharp tool trim to size around the line drawn
  • Apply adhesive to the bottom part of heel and on the sole part of the heel
  • Let the glue dry till it becomes tacky
  • Now carefully place the glued heel on to the line drawn
  • Press with your fingers and hand
  • Remove the insole inside the shoe
  • Drive 5 buttress nails inside the shoe where the heel is attached - 2 cm away from the shoe upper
  • Repeat the process for other shoe
  • Begin to finish the shoe
