Collectible boxing plate illustrated by French cartoonist Charles Genty. ca. 1930s. Genty is best known for his cartoons in Le Rire and in Boxing Cartoon Folies-Marigny, Tournoi de Boxe. He was a prominent artist and illustrator in France in the Early 20th Century. Each is marked by Ch. Genty on the front and on the back is "made in France" along with other impressed numbers or symbols.They are all in Good condition with no structural cracks or chips but have crazing commensurate with age and the occasional glaze flaw or flea bite.
