Architectural drawing by Patrick Hall (1906-1992). William Patrick Hall was born in York and studied part-time at both the York and Northampton Art Schools and showed an early aptitude for etching. He exhibited at the Royal Academy, the New English Art Club and the Paris Salon. Examples of his work are held in public collections, including the Imperial War Museum and The National Gallery of Australia. I have acquired a portfolio of the artist’s work, to include a number of life drawings, architectural studies, lithographs and an etching. Many are signed, and some of the early life drawings have printed labels attached for the ‘City of York School of Arts and Crafts’. Each artwork is listed individually as detailed below.

Architectural drawing of university/college/monastery on wove paper. Drawing is in reasonable/used condition. Paper has handling/creases, age related toning other minor marks/blemishes. Also foxing to the paper and dark toning to the right margin. Unsigned.
