Her work on Jane Austen is a practical criticism of previous assessments of Austen's character. Using a combination of social notation and analysis of consciousness Hardy discusses each of the six major novels to provide new insights.
CONDITION
In a cloth binding with original dustwrapper. Externally, smart with very light chipping. Personal bookplate to front free-endpaper. Dustwrapper clipped with some chipping and foxing. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
