Many styling upgrades achieve a high colour temperature by adding a blue coating to the glass of the bulb. This does make the light whiter, but can also make the light on the road slightly dimmer. Cool Blue Boost bulbs counteract this problem by running at a higher wattage. This means that the bulbs produce a brighter light than standard, giving you that crucial extra brightness. You’ll be able to spot any potential hazards on the road with ease, whilst retaining that modern look for your vehicle.

Please note: These bulbs are not road legal. These parts are intended for off road use in rally type applications. Due to the higher wattage it is necessary to ensure that the headlight can handle the increased heat that they inevitably generate.

The wiring also has to be able to be rated for the higher current (~6.5A) or if in doubt, the bulb should be operated via a relay.
