Green Apple Ceramic Compost Caddy/Food Waste Bin (3.5 Litre) & 150 x 6L Compostable Bags

This beautiful and rustic, green apple compost caddy is certainly one that you will not want to hide. A great upgrade to your food bin, this vintage style caddy will be a lovely addition to many kitchens and guests will certainly be shocked when you tell them it contains your food scraps! This caddy has also been designed with a handle to help you either move your caddy around your kitchen or transport the food waste from your kitchen to your compost heap/kerbside collection bin.

Please note to be careful of the lid when transporting and be sure to hold the base of the caddy to ensure you do not drop it. Furthermore, each apple caddy is hand-finished, therefore the finishing glazing, colour and sizing may vary between caddies.

Designed with a filtered lid to help the contents breathe and a carbon filter to help keep odours to a minimum, you will no longer need to worry about bad smells escaping. A spare filter is also provided (these can also be purchased separately). This caddy is fully glazed inside so it can be used with or without bags, however, our 6L All-Green compostable bags are recommended to keep your caddy cleaner for longer (3 x rolls included). It also comes with a bag-retaining ring to keep your liner hidden, keeping your lovely caddy the centre of attention.

Cleaning and use
If you are going to place this caddy on a delicate surface, it is recommended that you place it on a mat to prevent scratching. Your caddy can be cleaned by washing in hot soapy water. Remove the filter and ring first and ensure the caddy can dry thoroughly before putting back on your worktop to avoid possible staining.

How often should I change the filter?
