Reproduction Cat-Eye Lens for JBL 2404 / 2403 /series.
One set consisting of two (2) reproduction of the original JBL 076 Cateye Lenses. Constructed from the measurements of an original JBL 2403/076 lens and the re-created in tough environmental-friendly plastic. Front face of the lens is in silver and the rest in black to retain the original look as close as possible.
You will need the standard JBL lens adaptors for mounting and 2403 or 2404 tweeter to make a complete set. Actual tweeters or lens adaptors not included - only two lenses. Check my other auction for reproduction JBL Lens Adaptor.
Perfect if you have JBL 2404 tweeters but want to transform it into the highly desirable 2403/076. The lens has its origin in the JBL PROFESSIONAL SERIES and the iconic JBL L-220 Oracle / Disco. JBL's original description was: "The 2403 provide smooth response and exceptionally wide dispersion, even at extremely high frequencies. The dispersion pattern lor the 2403 is 90 degree x 45 degree at 12 kHz"
The lenses is a fully functional reproductions made from a orignal 076 lens pulled from a JBL L220 Oracle speaker, but is also used in Westlake systems SM-1, SM-1VF & Tower SM-1 as well as L222.
