Description:

A driver board for the popular WS2811 WS2812 LED strings.

This board connects a Wemos D1 mini to the LED strips, the data is buffered via a 74HC125 line driver. The driver converts the Wemos data output of 3V to the 5V signal level required by these LED strips.

The board also has a 5V regulator that can provide power for the Wemos board when using 12V LED strings, the PCB jumper must be set to the 12V option for this mode (else the board and wemos could be damaged).

A reverse polarity diode and 3A fuse are provided and connection is via easy to use screw terminals.

PCB version with a 3 pin connector for audio input which is connected to the Wemos A0 input.
