You are looking at an original 1990s Adidas Tubular air pump with

digital pressure readout which was originally supplied with the iconic Tubular range 

of trainers/sneakers during the early 1990’s.

Trainer/sneaker fans will already be aware of the legendary status of the original Adidas Tubular trainers and many will be in possession of these without the original pump. Here then is a chance to complete and add value to a pair of vintage Tubulars!

Although mainly a collector's item for trainer/sneaker fans, this could be used as a football pump suitable only for topping-up the pressure of already-inflated balls (PLEASE NOTE It is a very small capacity pump so not suitable for full inflation of a football)

The V392 watch batteries which supply the pressure gauge in this item are defunct due to the age of the stock  but we have left them in place to preserve the originality of the item. If you fit a replacement battery (not supplied), the pressure gauge will work perfectly (see picture).

Please note, the 'needle' is stored inside the pump and is accessed by unscrewing the end of the pump and reversing it. The pressure gauge will only show a reading when it experiences a 'back-pressure' from the sneaker sole or ball. To test the screen is working, place a finger over the pump outlet and pump the handle vigorously - the display should then give a readout.
