About Us:

Kilele Authentics is a company that provides African handicrafts, artifacts and handmade products. We are simply a reflection of the exotic and intriguing cultural heritage of Kenya’s diverse culture. From African handcrafts and arts, to African jewelry, apparel and shoes, we bring the best of African culture to your world.

African art, trade beads and ethnic jewelry are both business and passion for the Kilele Authentics’ team. The founders, Samuel Mwangi and Irene Wangari started making and designing African jewelry when they were only 12-year-old and 10-years-old respectively. The two siblings were brought up in a family of seven whom their parents were running one of the most prominent handcraft company in Kenya dubbed ‘Imara Designers’.

For more than 12 years, they worked side by side with their parents, creating, exporting and marketing handcrafts on different platforms until they realized there was more need in the market than it was being met. That’s when they created Kilele Authentics to fill in the gap.

Based in Nairobi, Kenya, Kilele Authentics has distinguished itself since 2012, as an exporter and trader of African handcrafts of high quality products. For more than 7 years, we feature some of the finest handcrafts, collectables and antiques in and around Kenya.

It is this masterpiece of traditional and contemporary art that sets our products apart. We enjoy a distinguished reputation for producing elegant and artistic handicrafts.

‘Kilele’ is a Swahili word for peak.
