Up for sale is this vintage poster depicting Les Hospices de Beaune in Bourgogne. 

A hospital foundation from the Middle Ages, the Hospices de Beaune is one of France’s most prestigious historic monuments. Its flamboyant Gothic architecture, polychrome roofs and a renowned vineyard make it one of Burgundy’s gems. 

This poster was produced in the 1950s by the Ministere des Travaux Publics, des Transports et du Tourism and has since been mounted on linen. 

It is in well-loved condition with breaks to the upper right edge and cellophane tape and three tears extending into the image in the upper right; it has been stabilized and mounted on linen. (Please see photos for details.)  Overall size, excluding linen margins is 24 1/2" x 39".
