    VG++    Light surface traces. Casual light tics or light surface/groove noise may be possible.

    VG         More serious defects which give a lot of tics or surface noise.

    N-           Record shows no scratches, scuffs, or wear. Plays like new. (NM)
    E+           Record shows very light wear. Should play like new.
    E             Record shows light scratches/scuffs which should not be audible when played.
    E-            Record shows light scratches/scuffs that may be audible.
    V+          Record shows moderate scratches/scuffs or wear that can be audibly noticible
    V-           Record shows considerable scratches/wear. Good for fill-in until a better copy turns up.
    P             What can I say! Record is in poor condition, plays very rough.
