Welcome to Antiques & Moore!

This listing is for a lovely 19th Century American Coin Silver serving spoon. The spoon has an embossed design on handle end and stem. There is a large oval cartouche on front for monogram (unused) however there is a monogram on the back that we believe is "E L F". Marked "Ball, Black & Co.". Ball, Black & Co. were in business in New York NY from 1851-1876. Although the silver is not marked Coin, we guarantee that the spoon is Coin Silver.

Measures 8 1/2" long. Weighs 60 grams.

This nice spoon is in good Estate condition commensurate with age although there is a convex dent in the center of the bowl and minor scratches consistent with normal wear. Please view all photos as part of description.
