This is absolutely magnificent Royal Gouda Match Stand Holder in the Decor Breetvelt pattern.
It is decorated with lovely hand painted orange and yellow flowers on a blue background.
The Match stand has stylish matte finish.
The dish is signed on the bottom: "859 - Z. Holland - Gouda - Decor Breetvelt", the famous house mark, and some impressed numbers and marks.
The cipher next to the house mark identify the holder as made in 1923
This beautiful item measures approximately 3 3/4" high and approx. 4 1/2" in diameter.
The colorful hand painted floral match stand is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, or repairs.
It will be a great addition to any collection.
