This paper comes from a collection of original Jewellery designs for rings, broaches, earrings and necklaces, circa 1970’s. They are all very finely painted in either gouache or enamel paint. Some are numbered, none are signed. The designs are on French tracing paper. Some papers have the paper maker’s name ‘Canson’ to the margin.

Due to the transparent nature of tracing paper, the artworks display best rested upon black paper, akin to the presentation in the original folios. I have photographed the paintings on black card (black card not included in sale). The artist has also cleverly used black felt pen verso, slightly offset of the front painting to create the impression of shadow through the tracing paper. I have included a photo of the original folios in the last image (not included in this listing). The folio labels were printed using a hand held Dymo label maker. The folders are labelled in Dutch, with three reading: Hangers, Broches & Parelsloten. These artworks would display well, framed and grouped together. This listing is for a single paper, detailed below.
