This is an EXTREMELY RARE British Somaliland Block of 4 SG 4c, the Queen Victoria Indian Postage 8 Anna Magenta with a BRITISH SOMALILAND ON H.M.S. Overprint!  They are in absolutely stunning Mint Gem condition, a real beauty and a worthy addition to any collection!

There are a couple of things to note with this block.  The first is that on the bottom right stamp, you'll notice that there is no stop or period after the M in the On H.M.S. overprint.  This stop is on the others.  This ERROR occurs on the very last stamp on the sheet, which would be #240 on the sheet.  There are only 5 KNOWN OF THIS VARIETY.  There were only 8 SHEETS OF THIS STAMP EVER PRINTED, making it a true rarity to behold.

However, it doesn't stop there.  On the back you'll notice the star watermark as well.
