Built to the same high-quality standards as our SAFEDRIVE Pro for safety, ease of installation, and attractive design, the SAFEDRIVE Pro Plus is a great design for rural postal mail carriers and driving schools.  Add an additional level of safety to your training and convenience to your postal mail route, or help a tentative student get the car up to expressway speeds when entering from the on-ramp.

We used the same brake pedal design and control as our successful SAFEDRIVE Pro driver's education brake.  However, the gas pedal side is designed to provide even more feel.  We use a finer cable and angled the pedal to provide a more responsive and delicate control.  Just like our SAFEDRIVE Pro, the system comes with a security pin so you can lock the gas and brake pedals when using your vehicle for personal use.  And to be clear, if you are a postal carrier, the design does not interfere with the normal driving of the car.  There is no need to disconnect anything, just drive the car from the driver's side just like you normally do.

Security:

A dual-control needs to be solidly constructed and dependable.  Every part of our dual-brake and dual-gas is over-engineered for a secure, confident ride.  We used thicker steel, double-welds, redundant return springs, strong steel cable, reinforced conduit, stringent testing requirements, and a baked on finish to make it last.  We also include an easily removed and replaced security pin to lock the brake and gas pedal when not used for training and a small flashlight to inspect cables and make it easier to replace the pin at night.

Responsive Feel:

Our design minimizes the use of pulley's because every pulley in the cable path creates added resistance, less feel, and additional cable wear.  We use high-quality, sealed bearings to make the pivot of the brake and gas as smooth as possible.  From minor brake checks to full-blown emergency stops, you'll feel like you were in the drivers seat.

Screwless T-Mount (optional):

The T-Mount provides an optional way to install your SAFEDRIVE Pro or SAFEDRIVE Pro Plus without having to bolt it to the floor.  Auto manufacturers are installing thicker insulation into the passenger floorboard to dampen engine and road noise making it very difficult and time consuming to access the firewall under the carpet.  Additionally, some hybrid/electric cars have battery packs installed in these areas as well.  This can make it a challenge to install any dual-brake system on the market today.  Now there's no need to bolt into the floor.  The adjustable T-Mount attaches to existing bolts of the front passenger seat making it a snap to install your dual-brake.

SAFEDRIVE Pro Plus Lifetime Warranty

Your SAFEDRIVE Pro Plus comes with a Lifetime Warranty for the original purchaser.  In order to keep your Lifetime Warranty in full effect, you are required to purchase a SAFEDRIVE Pro Plus Maintenance Kit every two years for each SAFEDRIVE Pro Plus owned.  We recommend replacing your cables once a year and refreshing the moving parts at least every two years.  The kit comes complete with two steel cables for the brake, two steel cables for the gas, two cable conduits, both sets of independent return springs, four guide rollers and zip ties for redressing the cable.  It also includes a full-color instruction manual for refreshing your SAFEDRIVE Pro Plus.

While we retain records of all purchases and will check our records to validate a warranty claim, the original owner will need to provide proof of purchase of the SAFEDRIVE Pro Plus and SAFEDRIVE Pro Maintenance Kit(s) if requested.  Warranty covers structural components through normal wear and tear, not Maintenance Kit components.  We will contact you when it is time to get your Maintenance Kit.
