Pre 1960 Beetle & Splitscreen Steering Track Rod End Rubber Dust Boot Gaiter X4
If your trackrod end boots are cracked or perished it will allow dirt and water in which in time will wear out the joint and cause play in the steering, It is also an MOT failure to have split track rod end boots, If the joint is good you can just replace the rubber boot which saves a lot of time and the tracking will not have to be re set.
These boots are supplied as a set of 4 and are for the early stlye pre 1960 original VW track rod ends, They will not fit later style track rod ends with the metal retaining clips although we do also sell those in the Wolfsburg Restos ebay shop
