CASED SHEFFIELD STERLING SILVER HANDLED DESK SET FANCY PISTOL PATTERN 1921

On offer today is a splendid genuine Cased SHEFFIELD MADE Sterling Silver Handled Desk Set which consists of a Letter Opener and a Magnifying Glass, both bearing the Fancy Pistol pattern. We are the only people on eBay selling these beautiful sets ! Each piece comes with their own cases and would make an excellent present.

The Sterling Silver handles have matching hallmarks and are fully marked for Sheffield with the letter b for 1921 along with the Lion Passant, Crown and the Makers mark which is GGR. The silver handles on this particular Desk set are in pristine condition as the photos reflect and looks very special, a very unique set indeed. The hallmarks are clear and crisp on this set, as expected. The glass measures 4 cms across. The set is beautifully crafted, this truly is a lovely set.

The Letter Opener is 19 cm in length and weighs a 25 grammes. The Magnifying Glass is 11 cm in length and weighs a 30 grammes.
 

It is a very desirable set and would cost an awful lot of money in a retail outlet today.
