As a fellow Pelham Puppet enthusiast, I wonder if you are anything like me, with a large array of beautifully boxed Puppets that very rarely see the light of day. 

Well, I have decided to break open the boxes and release the magic that Bob Pelham created some 70 years ago. 

Until recently, my Grandchildren were glued to modern technology and I was becoming more and more frustrated.  I was determined to introduce them some of the values that I enjoyed as a child – (using my initiative and allowing my imagination to wonder……….). 

I ventured up to the attic and dug out a couple of my old Pelham Puppets that I had enjoyed as a child.  Initially, trying to encourage the kids to play with them proved challenging – until my wife, an artist by trade, painted some lifelike, puppet sized, backdrops for the old Pelham theatre that I had.    

Now, whenever the kids visit, the first thing they want to do is play with my Pelham puppets.  I have been back up to the attic to retrieve all my old Pelham Puppets and my wife has been busy creating numerous backdrops for the plays that the kids put on.  Entertained for hours…….. 

As a graphic designer, I have been able to digitally reproduce my wife’s paintings and find even more images that I can now produce them as backdrops for your own theatre. 

I suggest you start with just one of my backdrops – to ensure that your children/grandchildren show as much interest as mine did.  Then add to your collection as required.  I am more than happy to discount multiple purchases. 

My backdrops are created on quality canvas and can be used numerous times.
