Dan Quisenberry 1984 MLB Payroll / Promotion Endorsed Check

approximately 7.25 x 3.25, is dated February 9, 1984, has Major league Baseball Promotion Corporation pre-printed at the top and is made out to "Dan Quisenberry" in the amount of "$782.00". The check is endorsed on the reverse in blue ink "Dan Quisenberry". None of the usual cancellation/paid stamps or prior folds affect the signature. 


Dan Quisenberry, American baseball player who was known for his wit in addition to his submarine-style pitches as a star reliever for the Kansas City Royals; during his 12-year American League career, most of it with the Royals, he had 244 saves, was a five-time American League saves leader, and helped the Royals win two AL pennants and a World Series title. Unfortunately, has passed away at only 45 years old.
