LUCAS SIDE ENTRY CAP FOR 25d DISTRIBUTOR...

this is not the higher quality one with brass terminals. This has standard quality steel terminals. The brass one also holds the leads better.

There is a BRASS TERMINAL one in the shop for more.  To go to it, copy my title keywords , but instead of the word STD change it to BRASS... then put that in the search

The red welded rotor is not included... it is merely shown for your information... ... just to show you it exists and is available.... it is listed separately...

The side-entry 25D cap has small grub-screws inside the cap that pierce the cable.  Because this was designed in an era of metal-conductor leads, you must consider that the "cut-off" silicon leads you are now using, be given some thought.

For example, Make sure the inner is curled backwards and is pierced by the grub screw. Or put  a little metal spiky bit in, so the grub-screw has additional help in retaining the lead. You MUST also use 7mm leads/cable. I sell these.  Modern cable WILL NOT work as it is 8mm or 9mm.

MY 7mm leads listed separately are made for A-series motors . They are a silicone twin helix spiral.  They have 90 degree caps for a neat fit.  They are designed for top entry caps... and because of the 90 degree end it doesn't crash into the steering etc as happens in many cars.

AS I SAID, if you wish to use these push-in 7mm leads with a side-entry cap,  cut the ends off at the coil end and put them in the cap, but do pay attention to what is happening in there, and act accordingly.

You may need to move the coil as the lead may be too short in some cars.  Beware also the awful screw-in coil on some early cars.  I suggest you get rid of it. I sell coils here.
