This gorgeous silkscreened handbill was created by Mark Arminski for a March 10 & 11, 1997 Metallica show at Madison Square Garden in NYC. It measures 4 1/4" x 8 3/4", remains in flawless condition (with very bright colors), and has been hand signed by Mark in the bottom margin. Generally speaking, Mark created 150-200 proof sheets for each show. Each sheet contained two posters and five handbills, so roughly 750-1000 of these handbills were printed (VERY few were signed). This is about 10% of the number of handbills created for the Bill Graham & Family Dog shows in the late 60's. As we are now 20 years removed from these shows, I suspect the interest in the silkscreen handbills of the mid-90's will follow very closely the interest we have seen in the psychedelics over the last 20 years...which is significant. Arminski is really the only artist from this era that printed handbills with his posters, and if you are short on wall space, or can't afford the higher cost of the posters, then the handbills are a terrific way to collect these beautiful pieces. This particular image is from Mark's 3rd series of poster images, and this is the 7th image in that 3rd series. Shipping is $4 (U.S.), which we are always happy to combine on multiple purchases. Thank you for visiting my auction and please feel free to check out my other current offerings for similar Fillmore era items.  QUESTIONS???  Please call Jim at 1-800-575-1967 or 1-863-660-1096.
