Aristotle (B.C. 384-322) thought that there was a flat ground, covered with a huge glass hemisphere over it, and densely embedded in the sphere with the sun, moon, and stars. The reason that the glass does not break and the appearance of the sky changes is that the space between the glass spaces is thought to be filled with substances that cannot be seen and felt as the fifth element. His view of the universe has been established as a paradigm for a while and has exerted great influence on astronomy for a while.

This print comes with a white border around the image
