If you are building a miniature house that is duplicating a nice late 1800's to 1940 or so small house , this is the
perfect wood to make the 3" wide flooring in "scale oak". 1/4" wide plank = 3" real size  flooring ..........................

Here is Beechwood, the best wood to use to duplicate an Oak floor in miniature. It has many of the Oak
characteristics, but in miniature, like a dark fleck, an annual growth line, a great quarter-sawn look, and
an overall matching color to Oak. The Beech pictured in this listing has one half stained with Minwax
"Special Walnut" stain that really brings out the character of quarter sawn Oak.
The package of 1/4" Beechwood being sold here contains 33 pieces of  1/16" thick X 1/4" wide X 18" long
Flooring Planks which will cover one square foot (144 sq/in.). Also included is an instruction sheet
with detailed instructions on cutting, gluing, and finishing.  This flooring is real wood, not a piece of paper
with wood grain printed of it by a copy machine, that you cut with scissors.
