The Double Eagle is the first of Twining's novel to feature his popular protagonist, art thief Tom Kirk. Upon release the work was met with much critical acclaim with its sequel, The Black Sun, published the following year.
CONDITION
In the original black cloth binding in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Proof is in original wraps. Externally in excellent condition with the odd light mark to the extremities. Proof is in lovely condition with minor shelf wear only. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Signed by the author to the title page of both works.
