A failsafe relay activates when voltage is applied to the coil (Path: Common to N.O connectors..). When voltage is removed then path changes (Path: Common to N.C connectors). Relay returns to its stable position: N.C..

N.O stands for Normally Open, N.C stands for Normally Closed).

A latch relay has two stable positions (C to A, C to B. C is Common, A and B output connectors).

Position 1, C to A (As well as to B) stays 'on' even no voltage is applied.. To change position one must send a pulse on either A or B Logic pin.

This relay is a good RF latch switch differing from 'standard' (Failsafe..) relay by its behavior and control mode.
