An attractive two-piece swimsuit from 1948 which is worked in a close twisted 
stitch for the main part with two-colour cable panels that are firm and help
keep the shape. You will also need a little crochet knowledge 
for finishing this one.

To Fit a 32-34 Bust - 35-37 Hip

The Original yarn used was 6 ozs (171g) of a dark shade and 3 ozs (86g) of 
a light shade Patons BeehiveFingering 3 ply (Patonised shrink-resist). 
A pair each No. 11 (3mm) and No. 12 (2.75mm) needles. Cable
needle, crochet hook, a press-stud Tape for straps.

TENSION:  10 sts. to the inch over main work on
No. 12 needles

chart to help with the old or US sizes
