This is a beautifully detailed pair of Antique Peranakan / Nyonya Baba Gilt Silver end pieces for a Bolster Pillow (Bantal Peluk) from Penang, Malaysia  These intricately detailed pieces date from the early part of the 1900's.  This pair of Bolster Ends were purchased in the early 1970's by my father when he owned an Antique Shop in the Rasa Sayang Hotel on Batu Ferringhi Beach in Penang.

These Bolster Ends have not been polished and retain their original patina.  Applying silver polish would drastically change the appearance of the items if you prefer a shinier / newer looking piece.

Bolster End Dimensions: 5 3/8 inches in Width and 3 1/4 inches in Height.  Weight: 1.7 ounces per Bolster End (3.4 ounces total)
