How we shear:

All of our sheep are shared by hand on our farm by an experienced shearer. This is to minimise the stress to the sheep, and so that we can ensure the highest welfare standards are maintained. 

Our sheep

 All our sheep graze year round on organic grassland. They are never dipped in chemicals, we do not use nasty sprays. this means you do not need to wash the fleece before you leave it for the birds. 

Our Sheep are all British Native and Rare Breed sheep, which means they have a thicker, warmer fleece, which is ideal for birds' nests.
