Brand new steering rack motor upgraded replacement steel bolts for Range Rover Evoque 2011-2018.

The Range Rover Evoque suffers with the electric power steering motor bolts breaking allowing the motor to fall off, causing failure of the steering and damage to the belt. This happens due to corrosion of the alloy bolts that are used.

By replacing the bolts for new steel bolts will prevent this failure and prevent the inconvenience, unsafe condition and costly repairs when the alloy bolts break.

These bolts are an exact match to the original Land Rover bolt dimensions, made from high tensile, 8.8 grade zinc coated steel.  We have chosen to supply hex head bolts instead of allen head bolts as they are a lot more durable and user friendly and much less likely to damage during installation.  Please don't confuse these with cheap bolts, they have been specifically sourced to replace the Land Rover steering rack motor bolts.

Beware of using stainless steel bolts as a replacement, although they are strong, they are likely to cause dissimilar metal corrosion as the steering rack and motor are made from mild steel which will react to stainless steel.  This could cause issues if you need to access the steering belt in the future.

Alternatively, if your bolts have already failed - use these bolts when replacing the belt to prevent future failures.

PLEASE NOTE - If you are only replacing the bolts, it is important to replace the bolts one at a time - removing all bolts at the same time will change the tension of the belt and may cause belt damage.
