This is recommended on the Raspberry Pi forums and is necessary to extend the GPIO pins of your Raspberry Pi so that you can use an official PoE hat and still maintain full use of all the GPIO pins.

I am offering for sale either the pin extenders (both the 40-pin GPIO and the 4-pin PoE header together) on their own; the extended standoffs (4 in each set) on their own; or the complete kit - you can make your selection above.

Only the parts shown in the main photo are included - this listing does not include a Raspberry Pi or a PoE Hat, these photos are shown so you can see how the items fit!

See photos for full details showing the assembled item. I found it easiest to push the 40-pin connector into the PoE hat first, since it is quite a snug fit, then add the 4-pin extender and finally plug the PoE hat onto the Pi.

With the extra clearance, it is also possible to move the fan on your PoE hat to the underside of the board . Although this isn't recommended by the Raspberry Pi foundation (and one component is in the way, stopping the fan from sitting perfectly flat), this does work and gives some extra room on the top of the board.

This kit has also been tested with the newer PoE+ hat and is confirmed to work with that also.

The extended standoffs are 15mm long.
