Our Diaphragms are inspected 100% prior to shipping, if any physical damage is done to the part while installing because the detailed steps outlined in our DIY video are not followed, the warranty is Void. Because of the Strong opposing forces of the Magnets in these Drivers, damage can easily occur if the parts in our Kit are not used to assist in the Disassembly/Re-Assembly. We have covered all the steps in our DIY Video to prevent this... Please watch before or during process.
About American Vintage Audio:
Formed in 2017 after recognizing the rising passion and
interest of vintage audio products by many enthusiasts driven by
the new popularity, and resurgence of Vinyl Record albums. There's
something to say for the durability, build quality, and serviceability
of these great audio products of a bygone era. Unlike most electronics
today, they were built so they could be serviced, and that reason alone
is why much of this gear survived the last 40-50 years. However, like
any electro-mechanical device, they need to be maintained, or repaired,
and that's where American Vintage Audio comes in. AVA is Owned and
operated by Bob Douglas, as a former life-long employee of Bose Corporation, Bob
served in many roles over his 40+ year career in consumer electronics,
including Test Engineering, Quality control, and Media Production. Many
of those skills are utilized today in restoring, and servicing vintage
audio products. In addition, we have developed several parts, and
processes to repair vintage Infinity speakers, to date a replacement
diaphragm for the EMIT, and Quantum EMIT Tweeters, and now our Repair Part for the EMIM Midrange
Driver!
