Birmingham Corperation Tramways destionation blind in original case that would have slotted in to the front of the tram.

A beatiful wooden box with brass edges and a working brass mechanism. Please note i dont have the turning key for this so the actual key mechanism is untested. The blinds roll easily enough when turned by hand.

There is a break to the glass in bottom left corner, its not moving but idealy would need replacing at some point.

The canvas is worn in places showing white through the black but i personally think this just adds to the overall look!

I dont have the turning key for it, but the mechanism turns freely when turned gently by hand.

An amazing piece that looks great on a shelf or on a wall. I used to live in Quinton in a 1930s bow fronted house and this fitted in really well. Ive moved to Halesowen and it doesnt really fit in with the new house.
