EGR MODULE FOR Ford Ranger PX MKI (2011-2016) Pre-DPF models. (Read Note for 2016-2018 models)
About Our Mods:
This Australian designed module is made to work with your vehicle to safe guard it from a necessary component (EGR) which was created for emissions testing at the time of manufacturing of your vehicle.
This product does not affect your coolant operation, it will however reduce your EGT’s. Which is often desired when a vehicle is working harder than standard or in higher environmental demands - such as extreme heat or over towing. Most users noted over 50 degrees Celsius in EGT’s while vehicles were driving normally.
What are the benefits?
Your vehicle’s engine will reduce clogging up of the intake from the EGR system significantly! Which means a longer lasting EVEN cleaner upper manifold, cooler operation, less over all maintenance, and usually lower fuel consumption. As well as less engine noise and less lag from lower RPM.

Is a blanking plate or catch can required to use this product?
No. You will find that this mod will outweigh the benefits of ANY catch can on the market (In testing no catch can is 100% efficient.) for the purpose of EGR build up reduction. It only takes a small amount of blow by oil for a catch can to miss to make EGR paste get stuck inside your intake manifold! Hence why an EGR cable is superior. There are however other benefits to catch cans in some vehicles.
A plate will not be needed, but if you suspect your valve maybe getting stuck at anything but the closed position, you may want to fit one. It is usually not necessary.

Please note: These WILL work on PX MKII (2016-2018) for EGR shut-off. Unfortunately, the airconditioning will no longer work (Blower will run as per normal). This only affects PX MKII. Please understand this is a side-effect of running this model on the MKII 2016+ or newer model.

Installation
- No tools required.
- Installation Difficulty: Easy as 1-2-3.
- Installation Time: Approximately 1 minute.
- If vehicle wiring is dirty - please clean before install!
Installation Instructions
– Ensure vehicle is OFF with the KEY OUT -
1) Locate the intake airbox on the vehicle.

2) Unplug the MAF sensor from the loom on the airbox.
3) Fit the module onto the female plug of the airbox and onto the male side of the loom (Completing the circuit).
You may now run the vehicle.
*Also Note - In some circumstances, you may notice that warming up your engine may take longer. This is considered quite normal and won't at all affect your driving capacity.
