This listing is for a lovely vintage/antique Austrian bronze inkwell with a standing dog figure along side the covered inkwell on a textured base. The base is solid bronze with a recessed section across the front for holding a pen. The glass insert is housed in a textured bronze stump form. The textured bronze cover is hinged with the hinge being secure and the top opens and closes correctly. Marked on the base "WIKUV Austria, 2600". We are unfamiliar with this mark but believe the inkwell is a vintage/antique production.

Measures 8 1/2" long, 4" wide and is about 3" high. The dog figure is 4" long and 2 1/2" high. Weighs 1.12 pounds.

This nice inkwell is in very good to excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws. There is a small chip on the top edge of the glass insert and there are some minor signs of normal wear as expected including a white/faded speck near the front edge that we have not tried to clean or remove.
