One 1 handmade bisque-fired 3"-3 1/4" Santa Clause Christmas ornament, ready to paint
Please examine the photos carefully, and if you need to see something else, please let me know. Between the photos and description, the bisque fired pieces are fully described. These are handmade so expect some imperfections.
Made from molds manufactured in the 1980's. These ornaments are so cute! They measure about 3 to 3 1/4 inches tall, and at the widest part measures about 1 3/4 to 2 inches. They are hollow. The top hole, located in the top of the present, measures about 1/4 inch in diameter. You can suspend them with a cord, hiding the knot on the inside of the figure or you can use some other hanging method.
You can paint them the way you want them to look. One way is to use acrylic paints and when dry, spray with a matte or gloss finish.
To those of you who want to glaze and fire these pieces, these pieces were fired to cone 05 and are made from high-fire clay. I fire this clay to cone 6.
