This listing is for an attractive hand colored etching of Napoleon Bonaparte standing in his classic pose after the oil painting by Paul Delaroche. The etching has fine details and is marked on lower left "C St. 48". We do not know the significance of this mark/signature. The frame is a traditional antique style wooden frame with textured finish and gold burnishing with a chamfered wood backing.
Frame measures 7 1/2" long and just over 6 1/2" wide with the oval site measuring 4 1/4" long and 3 1/4" wide. Weighs 1 pound.
This nice etching is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws although it does need to have a picture frame wire attached for hanging. We have not removed the etching from the frame and are selling the items as found.
