A new 8-pin adaptor / socket / connector which can be used to hard wire DCC decoders into model locomotives, multiple units or coaches.

The DCC chip simply plugs into the board, and can be removed and upgraded at any time. Wires can be permanently soldered from the locomotive to the board to provide an easy and reliable connection, using either the solder pads or through-holes. The chip can still be easily removed, replaced or upgraded.
