There are a number of species of Dragons Blood, this species is indeed rare, and an absolute for the connoiseur of incense. This species only grows on the Socotra Islands/Yemen, where it is luckily protected. The Governate only allow 2 harvests a year, which is why this is never commecially available in massive corporate quantities. I am so proud that I can provide a small precious piece of history, which aligns with my ethics and values.

Unlike most tree resins, the scent is only released upon burning. All I can say, is its very unique, magical and distintive. It possese a deep rich, luxurious, mysterious sensual musky scent - you must try it to appreciate its true magnificent character.

Dracaena Cinnabari is widely used in Socotra as part of their own traditional folk medicine, where they use to help with dermal, dental, eye, respiratory and gastrointestinal diseases. It also possesses antiviral properties, which may be useful in other treatments.

This is one of the most rare species of Dragons Blood resins. It takes upto 10 years for one tree to mature. To ensure and maintain sustainability, Harvesting is limited to a maximum of twice a year. My resins are harvested directly from the locals, which helps to provide them with a valuable source of income, in return, they aim to preserve these beautiful precious trees.
