Genuine Disney Watch made by Seiko

Since its founding in 1937, SII has engaged in the development and manufacture of watches for over sixty years. SII is a comprehensive timepiece manufacturer that produces all kinds of watches – mechanical watches, analog quartz watches, digital quartz watches – from “parts to finish.” Through our exhibition at Basel 2003, we will promote SII’s ability to leverage our development and manufacturing expertise to produce and market branded watches based on a variety of concepts in order to meet the diverse and changing needs of the market.

Nike

On September 1, 2002, SII and Nike Inc. entered into a global brand licensing agreement for Nike watches. This agreement combines the strengths of SII in manufacturing, engineering and service with Nike’s knowledge of marketing and product design. Nike continues to be the brand of choice for top athletes around the world due to their award-winning designs based on an active understanding of athletes’ needs. At Basel 2003, we will launch the Nike Oregon Series. Inspired by the emerging sport of adventure racing, these watches are built to be durable and robust in any environment. Because adventure racing combines multiple sports like running, mountain biking, canoeing and orienteering, it is a great testing ground for this new series of watches. The Nike Oregon Series is built to meet the needs of athletes in any outdoor environment.

Issey Miyake
Issey Miyake watches manifest the central thinking of Issey Miyake, that “the contrasting strengths of skilled manufacturing – beauty and function, hand craftsmanship and high technology – bring fulfillment to our lives.” At Basel 2003, we will showcase VAKIO, a watch designed by the young up-and-coming Finnish industrial designer Harri Koskinen. The word “Vakio” is Finnish for “constant” and “standard.” The VAKIO collection is a novel and beautiful watch series that expresses the originality of its designer Harri Koskinen.

Alessi
Alessi is a top maker of houseware and lifestyle goods whose innovative and quality products – developed in collaboration with top-notch designers – continue to be highly praised in over seventy countries. SII has collaborated with Alessi in the planning, manufacture, and marketing of watches since 2002, when SII Marketing International (SMI) -our sales unit in the US- entered into a licensing agreement with the company. Our Alessi brand watches fuse our rich timepiece manufacturing technology with Alessi’s progres

Disney
Disney is famous for Mickey Mouse and its many other characters that bring joy to people the world over. Since SMI entered into a licensing agreement with Disney, SMI and SII have collaborated with Disney in the planning, production, and marketing of watches designed around Disney character themes, primarily in US and Europe. Our Disney brand watches range from colorful pop styles to the chic and elegant, and all display Disney’s lovable characters, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Winnie the Pooh. (SII’s license from Disney does not cover certain countries, such as Japan.)

QUESTIONS WE GET ASKED: (PLEASE READ)
  1. Is the watch genuine or is it a knock-off? I've been collecting watches for over 50 years and during that time we have never sold a phony. I guarantee all brands to be absolutely authentic.

  2. Are they used or refurbs? If I say it is new, it’s new.

  3. Does it have a new battery and how long will it last? We install a new battery when watch is listed. It can last anywhere from 3-5 years. Or longer.

  4. Does the watch come in the original box? Unless we say in the watch description that it does, it does not. If you want it in the original box with all the papers, then you are better off buying from a retailer at a higher price. After all, you wear the watch, not the box. Is it worth the extra $50, or whatever, to have a nice box at home in the dresser? There is no difference in the watch.

  5. How can you sell at such a low price? These watches are discontinued models, old store stock, display models, or salesman's samples. We’re retired and do this for a hobby, not as a way to get rich. We have fun and you get the best deal...now there is a WIN-WIN situation!

About Water-resistant Watches:

Water Resistant Watches are sealed to withstand some pressure.

Water resistance is tested in measurements of atmosphere (ATM). Each ATM denotes 10 meters of static water-pressure. This is not the depth to which a watch can be worn. Many watch cases will list the basic measurement of 1 ATM as "water-resistant." These watches will withstand small splashes of water but should not be worn while washing the hands or submerging the hands in water.

Remember, water resistance is tested under static conditions. Wearing a watch which is 50 meters water resistant in water will expose the watch to a much greater pressure than during a 50 meter static test. Therefore the number of meters shown on the watch does not indicate the depth that the watch can be taken to.

Here is a general guide:

50M = 5ATM = Shower Proof - it's ok to get it wet a bit.
100M = 10ATM = Extended Water Exposure good for swimming or snorkeling.
200M = 20ATM = Pressure Resistant made for Scuba and Skin Diving.

Q: A 100M watch is surely strong enough on a shallow dive?!
A: No! It isn't because it has not been high pressure sealed. 100M watches are only good for Snorkeling!
Q: What will happen if I try to dive with a watch that is less than 200M Resistant?
A: The watch's seal will be broken, it will flood and break..irreparably.
Q: So which watch to buy?
A: Think about what you need it for and bear in mind that Scuba Watches (200M) look really cool but tend to be very heavy, which makes them uncomfortable for everyday use.

Mission Statement / What Does Refurbished Mean?

I've been collecting watches for 53 years, on Ebay about 20 years, with loads of great
positive feedback. It came to me while reviewing some of our listings that "pre owned"
does not fully describe our items. Most sellers here at Ebay just put their old watches
up for sale as is. Sometimes they have the battery replaced before listing.

My protocol includes premium battery replacement at intake and frequently
at the time of sale too, plus cleaning, lubrication, hand and machine polishing,
parts replacement, sizing, and more. Each watch gets a bench test for accuracy,
and durability. Finally I frequently include at no extra charge our full 2 Year
in house warranty. I try to be there when you need me. I am also training my wife
of over 30 years how to do the many repairs I have learned to do over the years.

When you buy one of our watches you are purchasing a timepiece
crafted with integrity and pride in the long American tradition of watch making.

AND NOW A DEAL YOU SHOULDN'T REFUSE:

Free labor to attempt to repair of your hopeless old non working analog
quartz watch with this purchase. I have been collecting, repairing, and
restoring watches over 50 years with about 100,000 watches serviced
lifetime.

After your local watch store has given up, or before you take it for
service, just send that watch to our return address with your
return address & email. In over 50% of these hopeless cases I can fix
them. Just like warranty watches I do bill for a battery, if needed, &
postage to return it.

If irreparable you will have the option to abandon the watch. You need
send no money with the broken watch. In most repairs the original
parts can be repaired, used parts for the used watch will suffice, or it
can be adjusted or cleaned.

A small invoice will be emailed when repaired or deemed irreparable,
and you will have the choice to pay for postage, or just not pay
anything at all, and donate the watch for parts, or resale.
