QUESTIONS WE GET ASKED: (PLEASE READ)
  1. Is the watch genuine or is it a knock-off? I've been collecting watches for over 50 years and during that time we have never sold a phony. I guarantee all brands to be absolutely authentic.

  2. Are they used or refurbs? If I say it is new, it’s new.

  3. Does it have a new battery and how long will it last? We install a new battery when watch is listed. It can last anywhere from 3-5 years. Or longer.

  4. Does the watch come in the original box? Unless we say in the watch description that it does, it does not. If you want it in the original box with all the papers, then you are better off buying from a retailer at a higher price. After all, you wear the watch, not the box. Is it worth the extra $50, or whatever, to have a nice box at home in the dresser? There is no difference in the watch.

  5. How can you sell at such a low price? These watches are discontinued models, old store stock, display models, or salesman's samples. We’re retired and do this for a hobby, not as a way to get rich. We have fun and you get the best deal...now there is a WIN-WIN situation!

About Water-resistant Watches:

Water Resistant Watches are sealed to withstand some pressure.

Water resistance is tested in measurements of atmosphere (ATM). Each ATM denotes 10 meters of static water-pressure. This is not the depth to which a watch can be worn. Many watch cases will list the basic measurement of 1 ATM as "water-resistant." These watches will withstand small splashes of water but should not be worn while washing the hands or submerging the hands in water.

Remember, water resistance is tested under static conditions. Wearing a watch which is 50 meters water resistant in water will expose the watch to a much greater pressure than during a 50 meter static test. Therefore the number of meters shown on the watch does not indicate the depth that the watch can be taken to.

Here is a general guide:

50M = 5ATM = Shower Proof - it's ok to get it wet a bit.
100M = 10ATM = Extended Water Exposure good for swimming or snorkeling.
200M = 20ATM = Pressure Resistant made for Scuba and Skin Diving.

Q: A 100M watch is surely strong enough on a shallow dive?!
A: No! It isn't because it has not been high pressure sealed. 100M watches are only good for Snorkeling!
Q: What will happen if I try to dive with a watch that is less than 200M Resistant?
A: The watch's seal will be broken, it will flood and break..irreparably.
Q: So which watch to buy?
A: Think about what you need it for and bear in mind that Scuba Watches (200M) look really cool but tend to be very heavy, which makes them uncomfortable for everyday use.

Mission Statement / What Does Refurbished Mean?

I've been collecting watches for 53 years, on Ebay about 20 years, with loads of great
positive feedback. It came to me while reviewing some of our listings that "pre owned"
does not fully describe our items. Most sellers here at Ebay just put their old watches
up for sale as is. Sometimes they have the battery replaced before listing.

My protocol includes premium battery replacement at intake and frequently
at the time of sale too, plus cleaning, lubrication, hand and machine polishing,
parts replacement, sizing, and more. Each watch gets a bench test for accuracy,
and durability. Finally I frequently include at no extra charge our full 2 Year
in house warranty. I try to be there when you need me. I am also training my wife
of over 30 years how to do the many repairs I have learned to do over the years.

When you buy one of our watches you are purchasing a timepiece
crafted with integrity and pride in the long American tradition of watch making.

AND NOW A DEAL YOU SHOULDN'T REFUSE:

Free labor to attempt to repair of your hopeless old non working analog
quartz watch with this purchase. I have been collecting, repairing, and
restoring watches over 50 years with about 100,000 watches serviced
lifetime.

After your local watch store has given up, or before you take it for
service, just send that watch to our return address with your
return address & email. In over 50% of these hopeless cases I can fix
them. Just like warranty watches I do bill for a battery, if needed, &
postage to return it.

If irreparable you will have the option to abandon the watch. You need
send no money with the broken watch. In most repairs the original
parts can be repaired, used parts for the used watch will suffice, or it
can be adjusted or cleaned.

A small invoice will be emailed when repaired or deemed irreparable,
and you will have the choice to pay for postage, or just not pay
anything at all, and donate the watch for parts, or resale.
