They measure 8" by 3" and are laminated with a 5 ml laminated sheet, not the standard 3 ml. Therefore they are strong! On one side the bookmark displays where the recipe comes from, the ingredients for that dish, and a picture of the actual dish. The other side the bookmark contains a symbol of the country where the recipe comes from, the directions on how to make the dish, and a picture of a popular beverage from that country. Each bookmark comes with a silk-like tassel. Obviously, this list is by no means exhaustive. The list includes both traditional and modern dishes.
